I mistakenly assumed that what I would get from BA was an offer of assistance in getting the MAD bag back to its owner immediately. Instead I was told to return the MAD bag as soon as reasonably possible. We couldn't do that today. Rest assured we will try tomorrow. The comment as to end of the week was my incredulous "even if it took till the of the week?" response to the refusal of BA to offer assistance to get the bag back to the MAD passenger.
I do agree. I'm very suprised BA didn't offer to assist getting the bag back to Heathrow, even if you were paying for it. It's poor service to both you and the MAD passenger.
