Hi guys.
I bought two EVA airline tickets from a travel agent (let's call them "A"). B/c of some school problems, I had to cancel the tickets. They told me they would give me the refund back to my credit card (minus penalty fee). I paid using my Macy's American Express card.
They wouldn't even give me a refund receipt of some sort. I had to argue with them for a confirmation that they'll actually refund me my money
My questions:
1. I saw on my statement the payment for the tickets was made to "A" and not EVA airlines. So how does the refund work? Will EVA refund the travel agency, and then the travel agency refund the money back to me?
2. I had reported this credit card lost, and now have a new card with new numbers. They assured me that the refund will still go through when they refund to the old number, is this correct?
