Like many others on here I have had horrible transfer experiences at CDG compared to AMS. But I had some intl transfer success at CDG on Saturday, June 30. Flew AF LAX-CDG-MAD. I only had an hour layover at CDG -- and a half hour of that was taken up by our taxiing -- but I also knew there were several more flights to MAD later that day in the event I did not make my original connection. So I promised myself I would walk in a normal fashion to my connecting flight's gate. Arrived in 2E L gates (Boarding Pier Satellite 3) and departed from 2F. Made it off my A380 plane, through immigration and to my departing flight's gate in 20 minutes. I had plenty of time before the flight to MAD took off. So, there is hope for CDG after all! BTW - the A380 biz class was a fantastic experience!
