I think there is a strong case for providing some extra TLC for non status passengers.
How many GCHs would walk away from status benefits and a stash of miles on BA if they didn't get an empty seat next to them?
How many non status passengers would stay with BA because they received excellent service and the staff went the extra mile to make their journey more pleasant?
How many prospective status passengers would they lose because they are treated badly before they had a chance to earn status?
