EXP complimentary upgrades are fairly easy to get a majority of the time, but I suppose if you want a more more definitive chance to get it, you can use the System Wide Upgrade.
unless you are flying on Mon or Thu/Fri, I think the chance of getting free upgrade to one higher class as EXP is pretty good. Wouldn't burn a SWU for this. Just my 2 cents
