For non EC, the best seats on the A330-300 are row 29 A, B, H, and J.

The emergency exit door does not have a slide-raft (just a slide), so it does not take away much leg room from the A and J seats. Since the emergency exit is short, there is a full overhead compartment over it, so you get about twice the overhead space above your seat. Also it is possible to get in and out of your seat without disturbing the aisle passenger.

I assume the same thing would apply to an A330-200.
