If you VDB on a codeshare, does the new flight have the same marketing carrier?
I will be taking an AA marketed flight on CX metal to Hong Kong and I am thinking of trying to VDB. However, I need the EQM on AA and most likely won't do it if the new flight doesn't get me AA miles. Should I get VDB, would I get an AA or CX flight? Thanks!

p.s. I guess if the fare code of the new flight is H or above, it would be okay too, but I kind of doubt that (purely based on my guess). The fare code on the current flight is AA M.
