You can try at check-in to say that your plans have changed and you would be leaving after 2 nights - you rate might stay the same. You would need to do this right at check-in and not after since you could be charged an early departure fee if you don't inform them at check-in.

I've run into similar rate "problems" eliminating one of the "shoulder" nights and leaving only the "peak" nights.
