I prefer a Town Car anytime over any of the other cars listed as "Luxury" in the "US fleet for Hertz" thread. And I know I'm not the only one.

A CTS or STS is a Luxury car? A BMW 3 class? None of these car can compare to the Town Car in terms of passenger space or trunk size. Come on, these are "Standard" cars, may be "Fullsize".

Even Hertz Germany lists the BMW 5 class as "Luxury", how can Hertz USA claim the much smaller BMW 3 class is a "Luxury" too?

In the end the Town Car always served me well as a large, luxury travel sedan, quiet, comfortable, reliable and with a huge trunk and an excellent leather interior. Exactly what I want on my US road trips (and I always got NeverLost on it and sometimes even XM/Sirius).

I'm not sure if I will get one on my upcoming trip later this year, but it will always have a special place in my heart as a fond memory of my USA road trips over the years.

The only thing I'm really missing, is MP3/USB/iPod connectivity. But I can still connect a FM transmitter to my iPod and enjoy my own music.
