I made no aspersions to anybodies personal class and refinement, you did, that's the entire point of what I have been writing about.
The second part is certainly true. I flew many times in Dave Thomas' (Wendy's fame) Lear 35, which was also used by Jerry Falwell. The crew assured me that class was not one of his strong suits.

The TSA pre-check program is a game-changer. Multiple times this year I have cleared TSA security in both LAX and MIA in 90 seconds or less using pre-check. This means 90 seconds or less from starting to present my ID to exiting the into the terminal and heading to the lounge. No laptop out. No shoes off. No belt off. No pockets empty. Basically its like the old days and it works like a charm. Based on your description of your experiences, it sounds like you have been standing in the economy line or no status line with 30-40 people in front of you. Gosh I have not been in those lines in so long I really don't know what they are like.
Lol. I was in the first batch of PreCheck guys, nice effort though.

I don't really understand why you bother with flying commercial if you love citations so much but I'm sure you have an explanation of some sort for that. I did not find the private flights particularly pleasant and do not seek it out for myself nor view it as a status symbol when others do.....and, for me, it is certainly not an indicator of a person's class or refinement.
More lolz here. I never made any reference to status or class and anything mentioned in relation to private flying, you are more than welcome to scroll back and look. You are the one pointing out what you perceive to be others lack of those things, and I simply stated that people have different values, and not holding the same one that you do doesn't make them not "get it" which is still a direct quote from you, not me.

I was merely joking. ORF is my airport, not where I am from. And I have been to Traverse City (I'll actually race by it in two weeks), our sailmakers corporate headquarters is there.
EDIT: Sorry, meant to address why I don't fly private all the time. $, that's why. I can do it sometimes, but I look at the value proposition of what I am getting, how many people are accompanying, others things I may need to spend on, how much income the company is making, etc. Given blank check, no question at all, G5 everywhere.
