Oh gosh I was very unimpressed when I heard this one on my way back from AMS a couple of days ago. Of course being me I just looked a bit sad and did not complain. But It was bad enough that when we landed we ended up taxying for about 20 minutes on my way to AMS, but at least it was on an aeroplane. To be given a free tour of LHR yet again (I am used to it as a predominantly T3 BA flyer) was quite cringe-inducing. I think altogether between the inbound and out I probably spent more time on the ground than in the air.
