Similar situation here to the OP - an opportunity has come up to help finance a reunion event in August. I can get reimbursed so I could offer to pay for what may be up to $10K of bills. Trying to think through what I might be able to get at that spending level, which is normally out of reach. I would pay off in at least 2 installments.

The cost will be somewhere between $8-10K for a banquet at a restaurant, and at least several hundred dollars of groceries.

Thought about the Ink Bold 50K, although in the last 9 months I've gotten 3 new Chase Cards and I have 6 from them total.

I was also considering the Amex Blue Cash Preferred for the groceries and then I could pay the restaurant with either a new card or a combo of existing cards.

I could get a decent return already with my Freedom (5x Q3 Bonus), Marriott (2x Dining and status nights for every 3K spend), and CSP (2x Dining). So I stand to gain 10K UR, 10K MR, and secure Marriott Gold for the year.

Not seeing that many signup bonuses that are enticing, unless I'm missing something. Thoughts?
