Has anyone else noticed a problem with concatenated names on itineraries? I recently booked YVR-SYD and the middle initial has been changed to lower case and concatenated with my first name; e.g. Great W North, becomes Greatw North on the itinerary and on-line. Outside of the annoyance factor, I'm concerned this error could be propagated to the boarding pass and cause problems with security since the name doesn't precisely match my passport.
And while I'm ranting about the Aeroplan itineraries, why do they use such a low res scan of the AC and Aeroplan logos? It looks like a 30 dpi scan and looks incredibly unprofessional. If I wasn't getting directly from the Aeroplan website, I would think it originated with some kind of scam artist.
I'm not an AC regular but it happens all the time on other airlines. Invariably it does get transcribed to the boarding pass, but I've never had an issue with it.
