Nok Air online check in
It's been over a year since we flew DD but I'm having a difficult time remembering if we able to check in online or not (I seem to think we were able to). Currently Nok only allow their Nok Fan Club members to check in and, while easy to join, we're not going to spend 200 THB for an airline we fly once a year or once every other year.

But the gist of my query is this: Is this a recent change or has Nok restricted online check in for some time now?
