I was in Toronto and pretty focused on a bit of a crisis at work which meant I had to head to LHR asap. I had turned up at the SE concierge office on my cell and let them check me in (only had hand luggage), had put the phone down to go through security, then got back on my call, headed to the gate on the boarding pass....
I was intending heading to LHR, but instead found out that the travel gods had conspired against me and I was booked on a flight to London, Ontario! A grovel to the concierge, parting with my Amex number, and I was booked onto the right flight... had that sinking feeling for a moment though!
