There's an app for the TheBus now called "DaBus" I think. It shows real time arrival information and nearby bus stops. although the estimates can be off during the afternoon rush hour.

I am also a big fan of the Dole Whip and found out that you can get it in the Ala Moana food court. Its served from a little kiosk towards the slipper house store. It sure beats driving to Waipahu when I get the craving for some of that goodness.
