Seriously,
I love a good German breakfast, fresh brotchen, cheeses, meats, fruits, endless cups of coffee.

A good, proper British breakfast is good as well, minus the black pudding. That breakfast will stick to your ribs and allow for a small lunch when out touring.
My favourite, and definitely with the black pudding! Having said that, while over in the US recently I had a sausage & egg breakfast panini from Panera Bread and it really hit the spot. Nothing exotic I know, but with a coffee I remember thinking, boy, that is good!
