My mother-in-law was traveling yesterday BOM-DOH-IAD on QR in business class yesterday and had a confirmed AVML selection. BOM-DOH - no problem - excellent service. However, on DOH-IAD sector, she was not served a single full meal. She was given the menu and all - but the only things she was served was juice and drinks, a small cheese plate. When she asked about the main course, the FA seemed to mumble something - and not being very comfortable conversing extensively in English - she had to let it go. But she did ask for some cookies and ice-cream and that was promptly given.

But I find it hard that AVML out of DOH was not available and no pasta type choice was even offered in the nearly 13+ hr flight and in Business class....Is that normal for QR service given how impeccable it was on the short BOM-DOH leg?

I hope QR rep on this forum can clarify....
