That may be true, but I doubt that ORD is the preferred gateway when they can fly direct or via JFK much easier.

Also you need to factor in that the majority of Europeans are probably getting to Florida on charter flights, not scheduled airlines.

It is a pity about the Manchester flight though I agree.
