Both myself and the SO were approved for this BA card after faking the BA booking and then calling Recon a day or two later. The 100k bonus offer was confimed unprompted over the phone, but like others have said the CSRs don't seem to understand the 50k + 50k after 1yr nature of this version of the offer.

One small hiccup that others might have some insight into -> after receiving our cards, neither of them say "Visa Signature" on them nor do they have the chip featured in the promo materials. I called Chase and was told they would send me a proper chip't card, but when the SO called they told her that the chip't card was a totally different product . The $75 annual fees have been charged to both of our accounts and the cards look identical so they certainly seem to be the same...

Should people approved for this 2x50k version of the card be concerned about the lack of the "Visa Signature" stamp or the inconsistent responses from Chase about chip't vs unchip't cards?
