If I were in your shoes, I would try to obtain that particular med from the UK. The key, in my mind, is having a competent government agency assuring the safety and efficacy of the medication, and I would trust US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Japan, and Western European governments in that regard.
I would have to fly there monthly to do this, not sure how feasable it would be. Nearly flew there yesterday on a DL buddy pass but flight filled up.
