My parents are currently at burgandy level and need about 16 q points to become silver. They are scheduled to fly to the US and 2 other sectors within the next couple of months.

Me and my brother just became burgandy levels, and are scheduled to travel within the next couple of months on qatar airways.

Is it worthwhile to club all our miles under a family program?
Would all are qpoints and qmiles get added, or will it be the head of the program (my dad's points which will be used)?

Couldnt find much information online, can someone advise. Thank you
