Calling HA a "tourist airline" is rather offensive, IMO. Yes they do carry a fair number of tourists to/from Hawai'i, but most HA customers are Hawai'i residents themselves.
Why is that offensive? Identifying your market and tailoring your product/service toward that is the proper way to build and maintain your business plan. The skies are littered with defunct carriers who tried to be all things to all people.
