i once had a priceline nyp-booking when i was told upon arrival that they were sorry but fully booked and that we had to move to another hotel. we arrived at nighttime after a tatl, so we didnīt wish to go anywhere but to bed. i told the receptionist exactly that. she got back with a superviser who all of a sudden came up with a room. i wasnīt sure if - being well booked - they preferred/tried to first walk "priceliners" away instead of regularly booked guests. and no, the room we got was a normal, average room - none of "bad" ones next to the elevators or vending/ice machines.
