It could easily happen, if someone were to take charge, step up, and start writing down everyone's offers. It could also happen automatically, if technologies like Wi-Fi Direct become ubiquitous.
And you can't even get 200 people on FlyerTalk who usually have the same point of view/perspective on the situation to agree with you. How will you ever get 200 complete strangers to agree with you.
