not as much as it used to be fore those of us that used them for flights on CX to Asia.

so i am torn. take the 50% bonus, then R/T to HKG on CX is 140,000 in J (93.3K avion) versus 110,000 AA miles (and if there is another 30% bonus, that would be 84.6K...sure splitting hairs or 135K in F....

i have enough miles in BA for now such that I plan to wait on this offer and consider AA for any bonus offers and where I plan to travel.
