Anything but the Capital One credit card - a minimum fee of $10. At least you have additional cards. I had something similar happen in Tbilisi, Georgia last year - I didn't know the exchange rate, asked for too much on my debit card, and my home bank froze the account (thinking it was fraud). I was forced to use a credit card, and could not use the debit card again for a week - by that time I was in Istanbul.

By the way, Capital One now processes all HSBC credit card accounts in the USA. I just happen to have both credit cards. This is ridiculous - pretty soon we'll only have one or two humungous credit card banks in this world (same with the airlines) - whatever happened to monopoly protection?
