One of the lone bright spots is that I'm close to the front of the plane - row 8.
I broke my foot last February and couldn't take a DL flight that day. Called Delta and they gave me 100% credit for the flight w/ no change fees in exchange for my doctor's name and phone # to verify ... btw, they never called.
