If I was to take a guess it would be:

1. Flights from other hubs like IAH and IAD offer one-stop connections for most people.
2. Competition from low-cost carriers like WN at FLL
3. FLL and MIA don't have a lot of business F or full-fare traffic to those destinations
4. Those planes are better used on more lucrative routes.
