Well I for one expected to hear the you were living in sin with him. Whilst that would be utterly OT it would be par for the course here. Quite understandable that you would wish to share this with the rest of us.

What I fail to understand would you buy him Choucroutte in the home of Cassoulet (Goose is better then Duck), Foie Gras, and Saucisses de Toulouse? Unless that is, you are aware of his personal preferences and Choucroutte is a code for "Meet You In Strasbourg" only we do not fly there!
