The gossiparound the airport among the competition centered around pilot sick leave (something is going around) and minor mech problems.

Just to clarify (at least according to aa.com), the first flight of the day ABQ-DFW (#1564) left ABQ (and arrived DFW) about 20 minutes late. There were two flights (ABQ-DFW) that cancelled on Sunday, July 1 (not three): AA1356 (7:30am) and AA1486 (3:40pm).

This is not to say, of course, that AA cancellations are not a problem ....
