I must say, the times I've been, I have had the opposite departures experience - arrived at the airport just around the 2 hour mark, maybe 5 minute wait through the first level of security, no queue at the CW desks, though always at WT. Straight through passport control. Lounge adequate - I've been to far worse within the system. Boarding is the worst part of the whole experience, crowded and hot gates, and each of the times I've been there been sent down to the gate long before boarding begins. From memory Level 2 security is done at the gate???
+1. This was Jan just gone. Mind you our transfer back to Male was rather early and we sat and watched the queues ebb and flow at the level one security and picked our moment. If we had just piled in, it would have taken a while, but there are benches right by the entrance. Then we got to the CW queue and there was just one person in front, though we were still on the early side. Lounge was packed with Russians, but they buzzed off after a while. So OK if not inspiring for us. And probably still better than the old SEZ F lounge which was more of a turquoise broom cupboard!!
