I agree with the comments above. The trick on arrival is to get off as quick as you can to avoid the planeload behind you. On departure there is less likely to be a problem, but a lot of people must turn up early, I remember 4 empty desks when I was last there (didn't have luggage, but wanted the lounge card), by dint of being there just over an hour before departure.
