Am booking a flight for a friend using my credit card. Eva Airways website states credit card must be shown at check in and credit card user must be one of the pax. Alternative is going to an Eva Airways ticket office and signing a form authorizing the use of the cc, there is no Eva Airways ticket office in Vancouver BC. Has anyone who has booked a flight for other than themselves ever been asked to produce the card at check-in?
I have done this several times for family members. All you have to do is scan a copy of your credit card with your ID on the same page and write a short letter detailing that you have given your friend the ability to use your card for their booking. Sign the paper and let your friend use it in the airport.
