I'd put Bangkok on that list,it has a lot of great hotels.

Not overwhelmed with NYC, but then I don't have a lot of luxury hotel experience there.

Other than that, your list looks good to me.

We have had another thread on this exact same issue, but even as a mod, I can't make search work very well, and I don't remember the thread title. Maybe someone else can find it!
