As I stated in a previous post, my experience has been the same. Still, although they never go through, I have had very good luck simply inquiring at the front desk on arrival. Still as you were on a family vacation I can see how not knowing is frustrating and there really is no excuse. I am sure that the SPG representitive will post that it is based on availabilty which still makes little sense since they historically they have availability at arrival. anyway, I am curious who has had success with the Suite upgrade program and at what locations.
