Legacy CO BF is alive and well

Flew LHR-EWR in BizFirst on a PMCO 752 this month. Great, stoically diligent crew and nice meal:

Nicely presented smoked salmon and air dried beef from the cart, served on a main course sized plate. A nice improvement from the prior 'hot' finger food - this is what old school CO BF was like.

Chicken with mushroom sauce. I took the recommendation of a prior poster on this thread and ordered it. Substantial, moist, and well seasoned. This is the signature of Continental BusinessFirst - Texas sized main courses.

After dinner, I asked for some more cheese. The flight attendant then happily put together a main course sized plate. Hard to tell from the photo, but it's twice the size of what I had to begin with. That was enough to last a few hours...

Midflight cookies and milk with some Alan Harper laughs

The usual domestic FC style pre arrival meal. I prefer what UA did for these before, the clotted cream / cheese / scones, but no complaint. It's fine.

All in all a great flight. Wines meh as usual, service great, and as much as widebodies are nice there is something to be said for the intimacy of a 16 seat cabin with regard to service.
