Haha, although interestingly I think it is ASDA own brand which is the same as one of the major branded coffee. I remember a friend in the know who said 'own brand' products are often just re-branded and made to look cheap and tacky although it's the same stuff as premium brand.
Very common in everything from food to clothing. A) some ftys make to much but are not allowed to sell the overages under the brand name they make the product for B) even "self owned" factories sometimes make a product with the profit being so high, that it makes sense for them to sell the same thing at half the cost to a whole new client base. But not wanting to ruin the integrity of the name brand, they just slap a vanilla name on it
