Club was full when we boarded, we were in the first row of wt+ and could here conversations from passengers in front who had in there words never flown BA so this upgrade was a lovely surprise etc etc.
Could have been people with higher OW status or people who were travelling alone so were easier to upgrade. May not be that you've been blacklisted
