I bolded your problem. You have to do this BEFORE they expire, not after. If these awards were renewable, you could pay the $50 each to revive them until 2 years from when they expired. However it appears that these awards were issued after February 2011, making them nonrenewable and meaning that you are out of luck. Sorry.
