At a minimum, I would give the pax a photocopy of the card along with credentials.
The one time I got caught on this, they did work with me to call Amex and verify it. So you might also have the pax arrive 30 minutes early just in case.
EDIT: Going through either a travel agent or Expedia (or such) will certainly work. I would expect a TA to be nominaly higher and the online services to be much higher (they NEVER see the cheap EVA inventory).
EDIT2: browser refresh issue. Missed that the OP whent through a TA, so there is certainly no issue. The TA guarantees the payment to EVA.
Thanks for your reply, yes that's what the TA told me, in fact the TA went through one of his consolidators and it ended up being a published Eva Airway fare anyway. He also said that Eva's requirement is no different than any airline, as any airline can ask to see the credit card a ticket was purchased with. According to the TA, they rarely ask unless something looks out of line/suspicious.
