Mmm, put me in the crowd of not being crazy about the Taurus Limited. I found it to be rather uncomfortable driving it between AZ and CA. Something about the height of the foot well on the driver's side (not enough difference between seat and floor) and the depth of seat or something (maybe too long?) just created an uncomfortable position. I seem to remember that the foot well space was eaten up by a carpeted hump that was probably a reinforcing beam or some kind of equipment housing.
