They are strict with 1st party card checks, would seam like an obvious gap on their part if they let 3rd parties slip by.

At a minimum, I would give the pax a photocopy of the card along with credentials.

The one time I got caught on this, they did work with me to call Amex and verify it. So you might also have the pax arrive 30 minutes early just in case.

EDIT: Going through either a travel agent or Expedia (or such) will certainly work. I would expect a TA to be nominaly higher and the online services to be much higher (they NEVER see the cheap EVA inventory).

EDIT2: browser refresh issue. Missed that the OP whent through a TA, so there is certainly no issue. The TA guarantees the payment to EVA.
