No relationship out of this one but crazy story....

I was 25 on my first solo plane trip. Having a drink in the very small airport I was leaving from. Meet very attractive male traveler who ends up being the only passenger with the same destination. Our flight is delayed but they swear we can make our connection. I don't sit by him on the plane but partway through I ask to move to the empty front seats to get off faster for the connection. He does too.

We dash to the gate, laughing how this is like the movies where we make it just in time. ... no luck, and no flights till the morning. Hour later got our room vouchers, two hours of standing in line at the hotel, too many vouchers were given out and not enough rooms - we agreed to stay in one room so someone else could have one.

Sadly.... nothing happened, in the room or otherwise. He had a girlfriend.

It could have made a great story.


Since I've had a ton of solo trips and I could ask the same question of where all the attractive males are.
