Pharma traffic is predominantly to the States, Argentina, the Far East and the Indian Subcontinent. The real issue is the increased MCTs in having to get to/from T1/5 - when BSL was previously operated from T4, it made some sense, but 12 years ago when it was codeshare with LX and operating to T2, it was also a pain to make transfers at LHR.
Certainly if my last BA transfer with a Terminal change was anything to go by (inbound from VIE, outbound to GLA 18 months ago), even an hour over MCT will be tight for making it...
Just to add insult to injury, I'll point out that it's now back down to 3 services a day. I was wondering why the 4th (ex-bmi) service was timed 15 minutes away from a BA one, and I have my answer because it's now vanished. Though, unhelpfully, BA seems to have used some of the old bmi slot times for their own service, so in the winter season the first flight of the day ex-Basel is now un-reachable for me by public transport.
Woe is me!
