I've never been so upset with ac in my life. Travelling YOW-YYZ-YVR. I have a Y ticket (T+) on ac 137 and 4 days ago I was wait listed for J class. Things started to go odd yesterday when i couldn't check in online or by phone. So... I go to yow early in case something was weird and for some reason they can only give my my boarding pass to yyz. When i ask about yvr they say it's because i asked for an upgrade and they would have a j or y pass for me in yyz. This struck mr as weird but he confirmed that's how it works (I've never had one not clear before the day of on a connection, so no clue).

So... Now here I am in YYZ. Plane from YOW was late but only by 8 minutes. Plane to YVR is full. My original confirmed seat is long gone. Told I am " not even checked in" by gate agent who then raised his hands and said "I can't help you" before turning away (he looked frazzled, yyz is chaotic right now). They're calling for volunteers now for vdbs.
