I flew US this week DCA-BUF, around $400 all in. Same trip on UA IAD-BUF (IAD is my preferred airport) was $1,400 with a 7 day advance purchase. The US experience was very good, although I acknowledge there is a lot of inconsistency here, at least in my experience.

Incidentally, the garages were all full at DCA and took me 15 mins to find a space in the economy lot. I know it's summer but gee whiz, I must not be the only UA/IAD castaway seeking refuge at DCA.
