Was thinking the very same thing, my race bike comes in at 7kg, even my mountain bike which is a nothing fancy bog standard aluminium hardtail would easily come in way under the jet2 limit of 20kg.
I have a flight case weighing 13kg. Bike weighs 6.3kg. Track pump, shoes, energy food and all my clothes made up the rest. It was my own fault, but I feel they could have pointed out their weight restrictions on the phone.

On the return the bike case weighed 19.3kg.
