Ok. [Do note that strictly speaking that is not allowed, should really all live at one address.]
We have a combined miles balance of approx. 180k of which 150k of these belong to me.
Ok.
Partner has BMI Amex/Visa and a Diamond Club miles balance of approx. 150k awaiting to be transferred into Avios.
Ok.
However, this has not yet been actioned due to the above.
Actually, this can not be actioned yet be actioned even if you wanted to.
Not possible until 3rd July.
And, to be honest, I would not expect the address difference here to be a problem, and he could always change his bmi address to match your HHA address if it was.
We are also considering applying for additional Amex PP card for partner to enable us to have holiday next year using both vouchers.
Ok. Don't know how integrated your financial affairs are, but there is also the option (in addtion) to get partner cards for the same creidt card account but in partners name, etc.
Obviously he will have to apply using his own address and thus deleting him from my HHA
The question is whether they check your BA address at time of card application is the same as the one you apply for the card with. Don't know the answer to that. But see below.
or is it possible to have 2 BA Avios accounts??
This would be TOTALLY against BAEC T&C, and for practical reasons is really NOT a route you want to go down.
As I said, ideally we would like to use 2 x 2-4-1 vouchers
Ok, keep in mind, the 241s don't actually need to be used 'with' HHA members.
and it would be easier with all the miles in once place.
Given you have a large balance, and he will have large balance when his bmi miles can be transfered in, could you not leave the HHA, move its address to his, etc.
That way his BA address will match his address when he applies for the card, although I don't think they necessarily check for that.
I have considered changing my address to his and appreciate this may impact slightly on my credit record etc.
Do you mean for your credit card account? - Now that you are setup, why not just move the BAEC account to his?
I don't think Amex check their address is the same as the BAEC address, just needs to remain UK address.
I would not go moving your credit card address to his.
