Is it worth it?

That depends on how well you feel you can sleep in regular economy (as AC SE, you'd be *G and able to request an exit row in regular economy), who's paying, and if you don't sleep that well in regular economy how soon after arrival you have to be a functional human being again.

BTW, kiwi_norway I never knew that UA E+ got you an extra smile, and I have flown E+ a lot
